Swanlaab Venture Factory is a Madrid-based, CNMV-registered venture capital firm founded in 2014, scaling deep-tech, B2B software, agri-food and search-fund companies into global leaders through a hands-on Venture Factory model — with a network spanning Spain and Israel.

Founded in 2014 in Madrid by Mark Kavelaars and Verónica Trapa, Swanlaab is a CNMV-registered SGEIC (registration nº100, CIF A-86981842). We back late-seed and early Series A companies as lead investor, then roll up our sleeves alongside the founding team.
Our roots reach beyond Spain. Team members bring Israeli VC pedigree — Crescendo VP, Giza Venture Capital — connecting Spanish founders to a worldwide network of customers, talent and capital across the Madrid–Tel Aviv corridor.
